One of the biggest retirement mistakes isn't bad investing. It's uncertainty.
Over the years, I've noticed something interesting.
Many people who come into my office have saved enough for retirement. Their investments are solid. They've done the hard work.
But they're still hesitant to retire.
Not because they don't have enough money.
Because they're asking themselves questions like:
• What if the market drops?
• Am I spending too much?
• When should I take Social Security?
• How do I minimize taxes?
• Will my spouse be okay if something happens to me?
Those aren't investment questions.
They're planning questions.
A successful retirement isn't just about building wealth. It's about turning that wealth into dependable income, making smart tax decisions, and having a plan you understand and trust.
One of my favorite parts of this profession is seeing the relief people feel when they realize they're actually ready.
Sometimes the greatest value we provide isn't a new investment.
It's the confidence to move forward.
